WindHydra
It might be useful to have the option to put large files to the end of the drive so that there will be no need to clear space for the big files when defragging (if there's enough space at the end of the drive). Guest MrRon
This feature will be added in a future version of Defraggler. MrRon
JDPower
It might be useful to have the option to put large files to the end of the drive so that there will be no need to clear space for the big files when defragging (if there's enough space at the end of the drive). You might want to look at JKDefrag in the meantime. Sorts files into two zones, regular files and spacehog files (though these go after the regular files, not at the very end of the drive which would be quite inefficient)
WindHydra
Tried jkdefrag. I like the algorithm (the 3 zones idea), but it keeps moving certain large files every time I run the program Turns out it needs a big enough chunk of free space. It seems to work well when I put the large files on the exclude list. What algorithm does Defraggler use?
