Uranus One
Hello! I found this SubKey on the registry [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]"run"="FileName.EXE" The key not exist by default, but a installation of AUDIOSYS (Radio Server), create this key, and when uninstall this software, this key isnt deleted , and on every XP startup, will show a Message: "The file FileName.EXE not exist, bla bla bla" Is posible add this SubKey to the check ? Sorry for my very bad English. And many thanks! CCleaner User && Defraggler User
TonyKlein
That's a good suggestion. CCleaner does check for example the usual Registry Run keys for orphaned startup entries, but it doesn't look at the one you referred to. Incidentally, another string value in that particular subkey is also used by Windows NT and upwards to load an application at boot: "load"="FileName.EXE" If you're still getting the error message at boot, please say so, and we'll help you get rid of it. Uranus One
Thank you Tony, I manage pretty well with the Windows Registry! But I think it would be very good, adding these entries to the list of applications that start with Windows in CCleaner -> Tools -> Start. Sorry for my very bad English. And many thanks! Yes I agree; the number of startup locations monitored could be expanded a little Sorry for my very bad English. And many thanks! Nothing wrong with you English. And thanks again for your suggestion; let's hope it will be taken into account. Tony CLSID List - A Collection of Autostart Locations
