Raikia
I love Piriform with a passion and use all of their tools (and recommend it to others). One application I would like to see is a file shredder. A program that opens up to sort of a box-like shape and you drag files in there to be deleted (and not possible to be recovered) or something of the sort. I would LOVE you guys then. Jazzyguy
Agree. A very good suggestion. I prefer a right click menu to shred though.
Moderators rridgely Posted November 7, 2007 Moderators Share Posted November 7, 2007 CCleaner already does this. Just create a custom folder to put stuff in and have CCleaner secure delete it every now and then.
Jazzyguy
Oh yea, I missed that. You can just send it to Recycle Bin however, then right click Run CCleaner (All related options had to be turned on of course). How about that right click though (context menu)? For quick shredding. So you don't have to open CCleaner or recycle bin first. Besides I don't want to shred everything, just a file or two.
Pfipps
I wouldn't completely rely on CCleaner's secure deletion. It appears to have some bugs in it. It is probably fixed in the latest release. I just use eraser for highly sensitive files.
