fredvries
I think it is a result of the cultural divide. American English will say 'Analyzing' while English English will say 'Analysing'. Or am I just telling nonsense?
Moderators TwistedMetal Posted September 17, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted September 17, 2007 But the Analyze button, says Analyze. I don't see why the other 2 should be different. You damn English people always like to change things around and make them difficult. Moderators hazelnut Posted September 17, 2007 Moderators Share Posted September 17, 2007 Interesting one this TM. In England we do say, or write rather, analyse (ie to separate into its parts in order to indentify its stucture) And then we would say the result of this was an analysis. As fredvries says , it's because we spell things differently! Also TM, we were speaking this side of the pond before you lot over there!! Admin MrG Posted September 18, 2007 Admin Share Posted September 18, 2007 I'll change it to Analyzing with a Z. I originally used an S in an early release of CCleaner, because being British, that's how we spell it. But after 10 complaints of a mispelling, I decided to make my life easier and adopt the more international spelling, by using a Z. So Defraggler will have to follow this convention as well.
