What size Ram do you have

"Intel Pentium D" 2 x 2.66GHz (Duel Core) 1GB RAM, Win XP SP2.

I got 1536Mb (1.5Gb). One 512- and one 1024Mb memory module. 1024 module is added later. Both modules are Kingston 333 PC2700.

512mb, soon to be 4gb

 

Talldog9.....I hope you are upgrading to some OS that is 64 bit, because 32 bit versions of OS's don't get use out of more then approximately 2.5 GBs.

 

My Dell = 2Gbs of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2-6400

 

My custom = 384 mb of PC133

i guess i'm a little behind huh :rolleyes:

 

i'd like to upgrade but it needs to be compatible or whatever, i'm afraid ill get the wrong one

i'm not very knowledgable when it comes to hardware

@unsober, you could try http://www.crucial.com/ .Very useful site for memory upgrades.Gives you the option to enter your computer details in 3 easy steps (memory advisor tool). They also do a "scan your system" option too. Try it!!

 

Good time to get ram also, getting cheaper all the time. ;)

Pentium 4 HT 3GHz 256MB RAM

 

Still waiting for RAM prices to go way down in our country, planning for 1GB
