i know that i mean things like the calander, and the thing that mr brownstone has done

The calender is a widget. They have lots of them like weather, clocks, media player controlers, and picture frames. I'm not sure what the best program to do this with is but heres one that has free edition but is limited in what you can do.

Tarun nailed me on page two of this thread...

It said Shell Icon BPP = 16 but it should have been 32 ;)

I've seen a few people complaining about losing their transparent icons on other forums I visit. I knew it had been posted here so I came to research. Kinda confused me when I saw to set icon depth to 32 bit but that registry entry said 16. O.o

englishmen,

i have the same calendar as you from rainlendar, i downloaded some different skins, but i couldn't figure out how to access them, any suggestions??

also, where did you get that background?

Download the skin you want then place them in the skin folder which is in your rainlendar directory then go to rainlendar and right click it in the menu there is a entry Skin hover over it and it should list the skins you have installed, just click it. I got my wallpaper from deviantART below is the link to the page but i have also uploaded the image to imageshack so you can just download it :D

Potential solution found.

Do you have Active Desktop on? If so, disable it.

  1. You can also try this:

  2. Right click My Computer and click Properties.

  3. On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Performance.

  4. Click to clear the Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop check box, click Apply, and then click OK two times.
