craigathus
Just installed Zone Alarm, had a bit of a look around' you know, read the help files and stuff Apparently after it installs it is setup ready to go. Expected some early warnings etc, but when I tried to connect to the INTERNET I received a message saying (limited or no connection) I have a (ADSL Broadband) type of connection and a shortcut to my Network Adapter "local area connection" so I can disconnect and connect as I please. I had to turn off Zone Alarm and let windows firewall switch back on so I could get back on the net. The only warnings I got from ZA where about Windows media player, and Norton AV updater. I stopped Windows media player, and allowed Norton AV updater. Any helpful advice please http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds http://www.piriform.com/docs http://www.postimage.org/

craigathus
Add your local network address or address range into Zone Alarm's tusted zone. Hi fireyone Before trying your suggestion, I thought I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling ZA first, and now it seems to be working I even ran "Leak Test" and ZA was successful. Thanks for your reply to my post http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds http://www.piriform.com/docs http://www.postimage.org/
