amckern
I tryed to scan both of my seagates - ST3120022A & ST3120023A and get the same error, however it works fine on my 6 usb drives, and 2 digital cameras.
fireryone
Try running a chkdsk on each of the drives/partitions. eg: if 22A is C: and 23A is E: *Click Start, Run *Type: cmd *Press enter *type: chkdsk C: /F /V /R /X *Press enter *Press y to accept check on reboot *Restart your PC *Note down any errors chkdsk fixes *Test out recuva Repeat again for each of your partitions/drives changing C: to the letter of you other drives, Some may scan fine without requesting a restart. Post here with some detail if it fixed the problem, or if it didn't. It fixed a different problem for me earlier fireryone
