DjLizard Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 Spyware? LOL. No, not all *NIX sucks. UNIX SysV and *BSD freakin' rule... Linux is not a good desktop OS... it's a GREAT server, however. A lot of the reasons I think Linux sucks are not inherently Linux's fault, but I'm not going to get into it. Oh, and I'm really experienced at Linux, so it's not like I'm talking out my ass... the reasons I think Linux sucks are definitely valid points that I will save for a holy war on some other thread. Mac's got the best OS I've ever used in my life -- and it's the first end-user-oriented desktop *NIX to do desktop *NIX right. (I guess Linux is only sort-of end-user-oriented-desktop-*NIX anyway) It's the best desktop in general, in my opinion. Apple is really smart and Apple continues to impress me. Tiger is freakin' sweet. Tiger contains elements today that Longhorn was going to have, or will have, years from now.
