  1. I see I'm not the only who thinks that this particular cleaning option is not entirely working as it should. Regular forms perhaps, but I often see a username and password that have been remembered by IE7, even though I'm positive I've used CCleaner since. And no, I'm not talking about cookies I'm keeping. Edit: Yep, definitely still happening, the log-in info for these boards for example, was still there after a full CClean and reboot. And the forum cookie is not and never has been (just signed up...) in the to keep column...
  2. FYI - I've added my solution to the linked to thread. I do think the dev should remove anything from the to clean list, if it possibly involves program settings.
  3. Go to the CCleaner folder. Open winapp.ini and scroll down to the Office 2003 section. Remove "RegKey10=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Data|Settings" and renumber the subsequent keys in that section. Not sure if that's absolutely necessary, but with the big warning at the top and everything, I thought it'd be prudent to renumber them. I discovered this behavior first time I ran CCleaner way back with Office XP and I've been removing that key ever since.
