  1. I was impressed with what I'd read about CCleaner. I was going to purchase the Professional version...I only have one computer, but I felt I needed some of the advanced features of the Pro version. They have it marked down from $40 to $30...que vunderbar. But I couldn't determine from their site if it was a lifetime license or a yearly subscription. I found this site. Got my answer. I've been reading this thread with interest. I read ALL the posts on pages 1 and 2, then skipped to the last two pages. Wow. As far as annual subscription software, I am NOT a fan. I was an accomplished VBA application programmer (MS Excel), but I switched from Excel to LibreOffice Calc when MS dreamed up the Office 365 subscription plan. I will not rent my software. I'll look for an alternative to CCleaner. Anyone have a suggestion?
