  1. After coming back to this community and reading other posts on the malfunctioning of the Software Updater; I find that others have the same problem with it coming and going under Tools and even not doing fully what it is designed to do. There are a few posts that mention the next version will address fixing the Software Updater and its release is imminent. So, I await the release of the next version patiently.
  2. Hello: I have the latest CCleaner Pro Plus edition. Until last week when a CCleaner advertisement came to my inbox, I was not aware that there is supposed to be a Software Update function under tools. After dialogue with help, I was given a registry updater. It did not result in anything changing. I then reinstalled CCleaner Pro Plus and when I opened it, I found Software Updater under tools and tried it out. It did two updates among my applications. After a few hours, I opened CCleaner again; but lo and behold, there was no software updater under tools. I then removed the CCleaner entirely and downloaded it, and installed it afresh. After doing so opened it, and there was software updater under tools, but there were no applications there to update. There were some seven applications under the updated listing. I felt good about it all, but after closing CCleaner and opening it again after a few hours; lo and behold, there was no Software Updater under tools. If there is no fix to this coming and going of the Software Updater function under Tools; I will give up on that function. It sounded like a good idea, but goes no farther that being just that on my Windows 10 machine. Your comments about the validity of the Software Update function are welcome as is any recommended fix; aside from removing the app and reinstalling it as it proved fruitless to me. Clarence
