  1. Thanks! For now I found an old netbook running XP and I'm using that. ???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah, I tried... Maybe, because I also tried changing the font to one that shows up in the drop menu but once I logged out and logged back in it said font not found ... But it's right there!!! I was reading in the first forum you send me someone said that the update removed some fonts on purpose. Silly move by Microsoft if you ask me ???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I tried the fix but didn't help my problem. ???? Mr. Keith did it fix your problem? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I read the whole thing!!! Looks like it could be what's causing my problem as well. The difference is my photoshop, Adobe reader and Word seem to work fine. I have a big list of fonts can't tell if anything is missing. I only have standard fonts and they all seem to be there. I did noticed though that my Word (I still use an old version) pops up the 1907 error once I go to run it, but works fine afterwards. I'm getting this error after the creators update. If I ain't mistaking error 1907 has to do with fonts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So I did some more digging and searching and I'm starting to believe it IS the Microsoft patch that's causing the problem. I noticed that the only PC that I didn't have ccleaner on was also running XP. So, I used a laptop running Windows 10 that didn't have ccleaner and it too didn't have the fonts, but it did have the Tuesday patch. ???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I ran a sfc scan but nothing changed. ???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yes my fonts seem to be in the "fonts" folder. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling all my fonts but still the same. I haven't tried the "scannow" yet. I only tried the "repair Windows at startup" which didn't help either. I'll try it and inform you what happens. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I stayed up till 2 am last night to install the Fall Creators update but nothing changed. I'll show you two images because I don't know how to describe it. This image is from a pc that I haven't used ccleaner, that's how mine looked before too. and in this one is how it looks after ccleaner on the left where I choose the fonts it only has 4 fonts to choose from (and those are web fonts) but before I was able to see a lot more. In the second picture you can also see at the right with red letters it says I'm missing the previously used font. Also on https://typezebra.com/ my "Local Fonts" are blank as well, I dont know if that helps.
  9. I did the registry clean with ccleaner but stupid me didn't save the backup. I thought: "I use ccleaner all these years and never had a problem, no need to save." I've learned my lesson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I looked it up. I can't find anyone else with the same problem as me. The update changes Czech & Arabic to English and might also cause a blue screen or black screen at shut down. I tried remove the update (that was a bad idea) didn't help. I also tried to install the new "Fall Creator Update" but for some reasons it won't install. That's tomorrow's problem, for now I still don't have fonts. How can I figure out if it's the update or ccleaner causing the problem? I uninstalled and reinstalled my browser (Chrome) that didn't help either. I think ccleaner erased something from the Register. I don't know ???? Edit: nope Windows update didn't help. 11. Thanks for the reply. I've tried it with Crome, Edge and an older version of Safari and the font I was using was Comic Sans. I was translating a webtoon from English to Greek but I can't see my fonts in English either. But now that you mentioned it, it did do an update the same day. I'll look it up and see if Greek is one of the languages the update messed up. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hi everyone. I'm having a problem on my PC for the past week and I've looked everywhere but I can't seem to find a solution. It's driving me crazy. After I used ccleaner (free version) on my PC I noticed that the drop menus on websites don't show my local fonts. I've tried installing and reinstalling my fonts on my PC but nothing changed. I've even looked in my Registry and I see the fonts are there. Nothing has changed everything looks fine but I can't use my fonts online. I can't figure out what is causing this. I installed ccleaner on one of my work PCs to test it out and the same thing happened: the website works fine on the PC that I didn't clean with ccleaner but fonts are missing on the one I cleaned. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
