The F5 didn't do it. Deleting in safe mode didn't, either. I'm at a loss.

Annoying....I have a desktop icon, 0 bytes, which I can't delete because it says the file it relates to has gone. How do I get rid of it? I've run CC but it's still there. I'm no techie, by the way.
