I have carried out all the steps you suggested, and I now have CCleaner.exe as well as CCleaner64.exe in the CCleaner Programme folder, see attachment. On checking it appears that theCCleaner software is now a 32bit programme, which seems wrong on a 64bit comptuer. Please advise. Thank you

I have tried the solution, and when I try to delete CCleaner64.exe with administrators rights i get this message "file in use, cannot close"

Files download, and start to install, then a message "Error opening file for writing C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ccleaner64.exe"
