  1. "Try reading that link I gave above." Okay, I know this has been a while but I did read that link above and even did as it suggested. But for some reason, I cannot clear anything out of the cloud. As a matter of fact, it says that there is nothing to clear out of there so this can't be an issue with that, unless I am just not holding my tongue right. There is no search history there, there are no visited sites, it is non existent. On top of the issue I have already discusses above, there are also "top sites" that appear when click on the url bar. Apparently these are not issues that Ccleaner addresses and it seems that no one else is having these issues. So my PC is possessed by a demon? Is the only way to correct this to do a complete restore? I won't get Windows 10 back if I do this. Maybe that's not such a bad thing? I don't know. I hate computers. They have a mind of their own.
  2. "I don't know your circumstances - maybe you have not noticed an update to CC and could be using who-knows-what version. So are you using v5.29?" I did an update and ran the cleaner the same day that I posted so yes it is the most recent version. ""..for as long as I have had Edge" - well, that could be since last Friday." It has been longer than that. Over a year at the least, maybe longer. "Help is best when facts are involved. :)" Everything I said was fact, nothing I said was untrue. "I assume Edge - or any MS related program - is NOT running when you run CC? Other MS related software could include Skype, Live Mail, etc." I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but I will double check to make sure next time. "In CC, do you have any cookies to keep listed?" Only the default ones, I didn't add any. "What about within Edge itself, have you tried deleting the history there, then going back to the CC method after that? (just to see if it gets you over this hump)" I haven't. That certainly could do the trick but doesn't explain why the program isn't doing it. "One other question - do you have Cortana running?" Yes. "If Cortana is running then URL's from Edge can/will be saved to the Microsoft cloud, where CCleaner can't get to them." I did not know this.
  3. The most recent one. And it has been doing this for as long as I have had Microsoft Edge.
  4. CCleaner does not seem to want to completely work with Microsoft Edge. As far as I know it is doing mostly everything that it is supposed to, clearing cache, history, cookies, etc. However, many websites that I have visited will come up in the URL bar when I begin to type something in there. I have the box checked to remove recently typed URLs but it doesn't seem to be removing anything as many websites that I have visited but not necessarily typed, will show up in the URL bar. What is wrong and will this ever be corrected?
