I think I may also have had the 'Applications' tab selected when I Analyzed to get it kicked into action. Thereafter it seemed to work as normal. Thanks for your help.

I take that back - it now seems to work! Perhaps it needed a reboot after deselecting the Opera options.

Tried that and still didn't work

Just so we 98SE users don't get forgotten about, I too have the blank analyzed items problem.
