  1. (work around) Enable Active Monitoring

Why the active monitoring? Don't you people get it? Look what happened to FB - $100 billion drop in stock. Why do you think it is ok to monitor people and try and tell us it is for a better product? Better yet - why don't you tell people up front what you are trying to doo instead of just sneaking it in? Or give us a way to verify your claim it is just anonymous data. What are you collecting and why? When I delete my IE history are you downloading it for other purposes? A once trusted utility has sold out and is now spyware - and tries to cover it up with a "fake" disclaimer. I'm not only going to remove this software I'm going to find a way to replace it once and for all with my own script process. PS - does Avast! software protect me against spying by CC?
  2. This isn't a bug or a suggestion so I wasn't sure where to post. I picked the sub-forum with the most replies. I have WIN 10 x64 / Pro. I set up a script and assigned it to Shutdown through Group Policy that contains nothing more than "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe" /AUTO I think it works - shutdown seems to take longer. But I don't know how to verify it does work. Nor do I know if I have to worry about Administrative Access. What I want to do is run CCleaner at shutdown. I use multiple browsers and just want all the junk to go away. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.
  3. Script running at shutdown

Yes it does. In fact, that is the topic I got the script from. My questions are: 1) how do I verify the script ran and 2) do I have have to worry about Administrative Access?
  4. When I run CC the contents of my web cache (C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache) are marked as deleted. I have gone to this folder and verified that is true. If I reboot and run CC again (even though I have not run IE and have verified this folder to be empty) CC tells me there are 8 files and 28,184 KB removed. The option is Internet - - Internet Explorer More*. It's been this way for at least a week. It may have been there longer - that's just when I noticed it. It's not fatal as my web cache is flushed but kind of curious. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  5. Thank you for your time.
