  1. The Wrong Temperature Thread

I have Speccy Pro on a two month old Acer Desktop computer with an Asus motherboard: Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Model M32CD_A_F_K20CD_K31CD (LGA1151) Version Rev 1.xx Chipset Vendor Intel Chipset Model Skylake Chipset Revision 07 Southbridge Vendor Intel Southbridge Model Skylake PCH Southbridge Revision 31 System Temperature 120 °C Speccy show an abnormal temperature in the motherboard. None of the other components are this high, they are running to spec! Because the computer is still under guarantee, it has been back to the supplier (John Lewis UK) twice. On the last occasion they sent it to be tested by an Asus agent in East Kilbride Scotland. The board functions correctly according to both sets of technical support and they did not find the temperature of the motherboard to be at 120C as reported by Speccy. What gives? and if this is wrong how much confidence can we give to the other data produced by Speccy.
