CCleaner not clearing Chrome Code Cache .js files
Haapy replied to Haapy's topic in CCleaner Bug Reporting
Please delete this post. I made an error here. CCleaner is working as it should. A senior moment. Sorry. -
The list is quite long, this is just a snippet. I had to set up a custom clean to clean these files.

CCleaner not deleting Chrome JS files nor Edge JS files

Well my bad. I disabled the Advanced, Custom Files and Folders, ran CCleaner, enabled the Advanced, Custom Files and Folders, ran CCleaner again and voila!, no files and folders. Case closed. Again, thanks to all of you for your help. Lesson learned here. Andy -

@Andavari, @Nergel, Thank you both for your recommendations, but I will stick to the include, it is simple and it works. Andy -
CCleaner not deleting Chrome JS files nor Edge JS files
Haapy replied to Haapy's topic in CCleaner Suggestions
I think we have a misunderstanding. I understand that you are advising me to get a 3rd party tool correct? If so read on. Why should I use a 3rd party tool when CCcleaner should be doing that or have an option checkbox? I am already using "CCleaner Options, Include" to remove these JS files, a lot simpler than using a 3rd party tool. I am asking CCleaner to update their product. Thank you. -

As far as I can see this problem has never been resolved. I get hundreds of JS files daily and am on the latest release. I would appreciate it if this would be re-opened. I will provide more data if needed. Thanks. -

Chrome cookies not being detected nor deleted
Haapy replied to Haapy's topic in CCleaner Bug Reporting
I did some more checking, went through all my kept cookies list... and found stat.totallzero.com was in the list. I have no idea how it got there, perhaps a senior moment? Thank you all for your responses and I apologize for this wild goose chase. Case closed. Andy -
Chrome cookies not being detected nor deleted
Haapy replied to Haapy's topic in CCleaner Bug Reporting
I ran some tests as well. 1st - Ran CCleaner and cleaned up everything, 2nd - opened up CNN.com, went to a video which was blocked, 3rd ran CCleaner analyze only and looked at the cookies, nothing there for Totallzero, 4th ran Superantispyware and the Totallzero cookies were there, 4th ran CCleaner and cleaned up everything just to check, wne t back to Superantispyware and they were still there. @ Redwolfe_98, do you have the Totallzero manually included? @Nukecad, try using 3-in 1 drip penetrant and soak the cartridge for an hour or so, it probably has rust or corrosion built up. -

Correction. I had home depot saved. Totallzero.com is a software developer, one of their products is Disable HTML5 Autoplay (Reloaded) an extension for Google Chrome which I do use, but do not save their cookies. Thanks. Andy -
CCleaner does not detect nor delete cookies per fhe following example. I do not have these locations in my exclude list.

Megan, your are absolutely correct! I do have Home Depot saved in CCleaner. My apologies for that oversight. Ticket closed and I will be removing those HD trackers and see what impact it has to the web site.. Thank you. Andy -
