  1. ok. this is getting ridiculous at this point. it has been about 3 weeks now since we first reported the issue and I was very supportive until now. Now, the issue is happening in the older version I installed. I bought this software specifically to clean my browser history AND IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. As a software developer myself and a person who has managed software development teams, it is unacceptable to allow this type of bug to interfere with your customer's ability to use the software for this long. If I were managing this team and it took this long to fix a bug that directly affected the software's ability to function, someone would lose their job. If it doesn't get fixed soon, I will no longer do business with this company.
  2. Any word on a fix for this? It has been 10 days. I keep checking for updates but there have been none since the faulty update. I've had to resort to going back to an older version of CCPro that I had saved and turning auto updates off.
  3. I am a software developer not associated with this company. From a technical support viewpoint, when a user submits a possible issue, I look to see if the issue had previously been reported and resolved then I send the user that link, which in this case was done. So, the response was the correct one to begin with. Only when the issue appears to be more widespread do I spend more time looking into it, as this issue has proven to be a widespread one as demonstrated by the number of reports in a single day. When you develop a software package that depends on other software and vendors, you cannot always anticipate when a software change in the other software will impact your software. From the view of a technical outsider, it would appear that Chrome made a change that impacted CCleaner. We did our jobs and brought it to their attention. We now need to give the developers a chance to investigate and resolve this issue.
  4. having same issue. just started today. is this a widespread issue caused by Chrome's latest update?
  5. I attempted to wipe the free space on my SSD drive and got a message warning me that it could damage the SSD drive. Do you have any suggestions for wiping the free space or files on an SSD drive?
