Ok thanks. I was thinking that but I don't have a card reader. I also don't have the slot on my hard drive for the sd card to go into.

I have tried Recuva program to recover deleted files from a sd card in a digital camera. The card has not been rewritten on or reformatted since the pictures were deleted. I have the camera plugged in to the computer with a USB cord and the card is in the camera. The computer recognizes the camera and you see it in the listings under my computer. When I run the Recouva program and try to choose that location it does not show up in the list under my computer. So I can't choose it. Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help? Thanks
