  1. Alan B:my mobo has been changed twice(in home)by dell a/c 1:false fan error message and w/that mobo 2:bad network adapter on that mobo.so I'm on my 3rd mobo(that includes the original sent w/the tower)the only thing that remains constant is the Speccy mobo reading of 128 c.Dell XPS 8700 i7 4770 3.4 ghz 32g ram
  2. Since I installed 3/2014 been getting mobo temp readings of 128c,SOMTIMES when I refresh it goes to 35c.tes I have uninstalled-reinstalled.There is a forum link in 5/14 regading this problem but still no fix form piriform.BTW dell says if the mobo really was at 128c the cpu would shut down immediatley. This is on a Dell XPS 8700 i7 4770 3.4gz 64bit running windows 8.1
  3. Still getting these 128c bogus readings on the mobo,if I refresh SOMTIMES it shows the correct reading(38c)This discussion originally started in May/2014 when is Piriform going to correct this Issue?
  4. yes my cpu readings across 4 cores is 35C Its only the mobo reading(128C)that appears to be bogus,Hope Piriform comes up w/an answer for this soon
  5. I have the same problem.am running Dell XPS 8700 win 8.1 64bit Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz.Speccy tells me the motherboard Temp is 128C If I refresh same thing if I close and reopen SOMETIMES it will read 28C(correct Temp) According to Dell if the mobo temp was 128C the cpu would immediately SHUTDOWN.I tried an uninstall reinstall but same thing.this must be a problem with Win 8.0&8.1? a/c others are having this problem with different mobo's?
