I probably shouldn't be telling anyone this, but....
It should be out of beta in a week or two, if all goes well...
Shhhhh..... Keep it a secret!

Merry Christmas everyone!

CCleaner and all of the Piriform programs are free to use, personal, and business. If you really like CCleaner and would like to see it keep developing and improving. Please donate, any amount is greatful. Remember, it's Christmas!

It doesn't show anything on my desktop about any time limit.
SP3 contains all Hotifxes for XP (includes IE6/IE7 updates, but does not contain IE7)
Networking:
"Black Hole" Router Detection
Network Access Point (NAP)
Functionality:
Descriptive Security Options User Inface
Enhanced Security for Administrator and Service policy entries
Microsoft Kernel Mode Cryptographic Module
Setup:
Windows Product Activation (Affects other Windows programs activation, this is not WGA)
It only contains a few new features, which I doubt most users will use. It should be a small update on Windows Update when it is released, since most people won't need all the updates.

I have read SP3 forces you to update to WMP11? Is this true?
Nope, it doesn't have WMP included. I still have WMP 9 installed.
-
I don't either, but my laptop is my main computer. I just use my desktop to play CS:S and testing stuff. Since it is an RC I will try it.

I'm going to try it out on my desktop/gaming PC, I just recently rebuilt it.

This version has alot of new stuff with it.
I like this one:
- Added support for CCleaner /Auto (See Help file for more information) -
The backup not showing as a reg file is a file association problem and not CCleaner. I have tested it out.
Make sure you have ADMIN access when attempting to fix the reg file association problem.

I have been using Windows Live Mail Beta for a while now and it's really good. The final version was released today.
-
It sounds like StopZilla may be the problem. Close it before installing CCleaner.

In case I am not on tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving to all the US members here!
-
It's showing 10MB.
-
It's actually pretty nice, I like the new features and GUI.
-
We are fine right now, but thanks anyways.

Andavari told me about the spelling mistake a while back. I will fix it once I update it. I only have 1 new entry. It's just not worth updating it yet.

There is an option to not install it. Read the setup and don't click Next so fast.
-
Yes, the Downloaded Installations folder is where some programs will install their setup files. This is in case you want to modify or reinstall the program. I did have this added to winapp2.ini some while back, but ultimately it was decided for the best to remove it. As it did cause some problems, not real problems, but more of a pain.
