  1. I don't think they could get their own browser engine to function with the speed and features of the other browser so why not go with the best (so to speak). This is a win, win for everyone. A independent browser that doesn't rely on the core Windows ecosystem (yet) and Microsoft is even submitting code to improve the browser.

  2. "In the future, we will offer MS Paint in the Windows Store also for free and continue to provide new updates and experiences to Paint 3D so people have the best creative tools all in one place."

    Never used it really, ever....

  3. It's always good to backup your whole system. I do it once every two weeks, but that is just me. I have never had any issues with the Registry Cleaner, but I have a default system. I don't have any custom system folder locations, or any different locations for anything major. Just create a system restore point and backup the registry when asked during cleaning (you just never know).

If you run into any issues, feel free to post here.

  4. There is a chance when downloading the latest version of Speccy that your anti-virus program will flag the installer for Speccy to contain a Trojan, and/or a Virus.

This is a what we call a "false positive". Meaning that there is actually not a virus inside the program. It's usually caused by the Google bundle that is inside the setup file. The issue is usually fixed within 24 hours.

There is some thing you can do to fix the problem too. If you receive a Trojan/Virus warning when trying to install Speccy, please report this "false positive" to the company in which makes the anti-virus program you use.

    Thank you for using Speccy!

You can also wait a few days until the Slim build is released (it doesn't contain the Google bundle).

    Thank you for using CCleaner!

  8. CCleaner is not deleting Google Chrome History? There are a few workarounds to fix the problem. There is not a problem with CCleaner, it's because Google Chrome is cloud based.

#1) Chrome is synced to your Google account. Therefore all browsing information is stored there and won't be cleaned. You can either disable History from the Chrome sync settings, or stop syncing. Go to Menu, Settings, Sign in. This will fix the problem most of the time.

There is another workaround, if for some reason the above does not work.

#2) When a process associated with Google Chrome is running during the cleaning operation. All internet browsers need to be closed in order for them to be cleaned properly by CCleaner.

*There is a setting in Chrome that allows background applications to run after Chrome has already been closed. Go to Menu, Settings, Show advanced settings... uncheck "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed".

Hopefully this will fix the problem!
