  1. Is CCleaner Cloud still developed?

From what I am guessing, when a new version of CCleaner is released. The Cloud is silently updated too. But, I could be wrong.
  2. Actually there is. It's winapp2.ini. It can be found here. You can have it remove certain registry keys. I have done it back in the day. You could set it up to clean multiple reg keys for different programs, if that is what you want to do. Just have it detect a common .exe in the Windows or system32 folder. Just be cautious and know what you are doing if you make a winapp2.ini file.
  3. Sorry, to say this. But, you won't find a tool that will do that. Microsoft has changed the way they store browsing history. It's not just CCleaner, it's all of them. CCleaner can still cleans a lot of stuff, but we aren't sure if there will ever be a way again. Hopefully, there will be...

  5. Netgear Routers

I am tired at work. I deleted the post.
  6. Movies for the Family to enjoy together

I would say Angry Birds or Secret Life of Pets. Both are good movies for adults and kids.
  7. I have been a Windows Insider for a few years now. I have had every build of Windows 10. Never had any install issues with any build or version. But... The latest build 14986 (I believe) for some reason reset my UAC settings on me. That is it though...
  8. Does CCleaner not play well with MS Edge?

Windows 10/IE/Edge has changed the way it's stores the browser cache now. It's not just CCleaner, it's all the third apps. We (I mean they) are looking into the matter to see what can be done about it.
  9. GUI bug (teleporting tickbox)

It's not just a Windows 7 bug. It does that to me too.
  10. windows 10

You will have to add them to the exclude list. Windows 10 just recreates them. I had to do that on day 1.
  11. Just check the box "Do not show me the message again". That's what I have to do too.
  12. Need some help

I usually run it once a week for maintenance or when I uninstall apps.
  13. can't down load

Where are you downloading it from? Have you tried different sites?
  14. Windows 10 available on July 29th

I really like the RTM version of Windows 10, but I haven't found any security suite apps that work with 10 except for Comodo Security Suite. But each build you install, it breaks the app totally. You have to uninstall it and then reinstall it. I found using Windows Defender and Windows 10 Firewall Control app works the best so far until the apps are updated to Windows 10. Sadly Microsoft Edge is still crap, it's very sluggish, and slow at times. I still use Firefox though. The version the Windows Insiders are using is 10240, which is the RTM version. HP, Dell, and so on are using to put in their new machines to sell. You can except to have updates on day one, updates are getting ready to roll out soon for testing.
  15. Xbox One console to run old 360 games

I have been playing Mass Effect on my Xbox One. It runs and plays just like on the 360.
  16. Microsoft to deliver free upgrades to Windows 10

Even as Tech Preview the OS is pretty solid. I pretty much use it as a daily now and looking forward to the Xbox One intergration. The basics are there, but they are updating it a lot. Cortana is neat, but does need some work.
  17. CCleaner windows 10 detecting issues

    It's the new 9926 build.
  18. New to Recuva

Hello. The best thing to do is to read this http://www.piriform.com/docs click on Recuva. You should be able to recover most, if not all of the files.
  19. 5.0 UI is a step backwards

I figured I would post here.... I actually posted this to staff before posting here, but it does apply here. Look at Windows, every new OS has had a complete GUI overhaul. People complain about every one of them, but still use it. I know it sucks, but as a business stand point. You have to keep up or die out. Piriform is making the right move, but you can't except everyone to be happy about it.
  20. Xbox One

    My Gamertag is Nightly Suicide
  21. Batman: Arkham Knight

http://www.batmanarkhamknight.com/ I can't wait, it's going to be awesome! Good thing I got an Xbox One.
  22. Does CCleaner turn off System Restore?

Not sure what could have turned it off. But, CCleaner doesn't turn System Restore off.
  23. CCleaner is not deleting Google Chrome History? There are a few workarounds to fix the problem. There is not a problem with CCleaner, it's because Google Chrome is cloud based. #1) Chrome is synced to your Google account. Therefore all browsing information is stored there and won't be cleaned. You can either disable History from the Chrome sync settings, or stop syncing. Go to Menu, Settings, Sign in. This will fix the problem most of the time. There is another workaround, if for some reason the above does not work. #2) When a process associated with Google Chrome is running during the cleaning operation. All internet browsers need to be closed in order for them to be cleaned properly by CCleaner. *There is a setting in Chrome that allows background applications to run after Chrome has already been closed. Go to Menu, Settings, Show advanced settings... uncheck "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed". Hopefully this will fix the problem!
