  2. Hello folks, I just thought to share this wonderful product with you. It's called PicPick and as the name suggests : this is a screen capturing program, but one with a vast array of functions. Its entirely free and works like a charm. As the one of the reviewers says... "This program makes us think of a Swiss Army Knife, or perhaps a well-stocked, well-organized desk drawer. There are all kinds of helpful tools here, and we think PicPick would be useful to Web designers, graphic designers, and even the average computer user who occasionally needs to work with graphics.' I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a tool that offers more functionality than Windows built in 'Snipping Tool' http://www.picpick.org/en/ There is even a portable version available for download from here. http://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/picpick-portable Works with all versions of Windows from XP to Windows 8 Cheers Q
  3. I appreciate your kind welcome, and look forward to getting to know you all. I have used Piriform software for a good many years and am very grateful to the creators of their range of software, But I have a confession to make though....since I have only a few shekels. I have used only the free versions...which fit my pocket and the pocket of so many pensioners. I hope I don't get banned for this frank admission. Cheers Q
  4. My first post and I hope not to be putting it in the wrong place...(said with fingers crossed).. Just a quick hello of sorts and I hope to spend some time here. In real life (is there any other) : I am now retired, but still do a couple of days volunteer teaching of computer skills to senior folks. They always get my little chat about good house keeping rules when it comes to keeping computers purring. It includes naturally enough : a big thumbs up for Piriform with all its wonderful and useful software.. Cheers Q
