  1. I've been hoping that each newer version of CCleaner would change the miserable light grey font used in three places, and it is very difficult to read First and most important location: 1) the amount of "xyz MB removed.", directly under the CCleaning Complete report, under the green bar at the top. I'm changing it to light grey font in this post to illustrate what a horrible choice of coloring it is. You should make it black like label directly above it. 2) Again, at the very top, above the green bar, you use that awful light grey font to describe the version of the Operating System and the System Information of the PC beneath it. Here again: Windows 7 64-bit SP1 Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 32.0GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4600 Do you see how awful that is? In this case and the next (#3) you should use a white font against the brown background color. 3) the version # of the current CCleaner program is also in light grey font against brown background. v.5.08.5308 (64-bit) Light grey against a white background (#1 above) and light grey against a brown background (#2 and #3) are horrible graphics design choices. CHANGE IT!
  2. Whatever that's supposed to mean, I have no idea. The company's release notes states that it fixed cleaning issues with MS IE 10 as a result of this latest release, and I'm stating that it has not. Or at least not satisfactorily, which means the same thing.
  3. I just installed the latest version, 4.03.4151 and it has not fixed any of the issues related to this thread. None of the history is cleaned. Not craigslist, nor searches on Google.
  4. New Discovery. Okay, it's not just Craigslist, and I've discovered something else which is peculiar: The history as typically disclosed in the Browser History tab has in fact been eliminated from that area, but when you go back to your Search again, even searches in Google, the links you had clicked on in the past still show up as having been clicked on - they are now a different color. Reiterating - When you bring up past searches (even in Google) or your Craigslist site where you had visited before, the links within the site that you had clicked on, are a different color, even after running CCleaner. The Browser History tab shows cleared, but the indications are still a different color from the individual website links themselves. Furthermore, I did a seach in Google, and after running CCleaner, I performed the search again using the same search words, and when the results list came up, the same links I had clicked on prior were already highlighted. Since this is happening even with version 4.01, it is clearly an issue with MS IE 10. Something inside the new IE browser is interfering with CCleaner's functionality.

  6. Version 4.01 is not working for me now at clearing Craigslist history. It clears everything else, but not Craigslist. 4.02 likewise is not working at clearing Craigslist. ???
  7. I replicated it. I wrote about this on another thread here titled "CCleaner Does Not Clean Browsing History", and another person wrote after my post that he, too, is having this issue. My post in particular did have to do with Craigslist history not getting deleted.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion. I took your advice and reinstalled the older version (4.01) and things are working correctly again.
  9. I have been using CCleaner on all my computers for 3 or 4 years without issues, until I noticed this week that CCleaner will not delete the browser history on IE 10 (which I just got around to upgrading to in the past couple of weeks) running on my Windows 7 Home 64-bit HP netbook (AMD E-450 with 8 MB Ram). Particularly, the links inside of Craigslist remain in purple showing the links I have clicked, even after running CCleaner. I used CCleaner to uninstall CCleaner, and then reinstalled the latest version of CCleaner, again, and tested, but the problem persists. I've looked over all the settings and everything seems to be checked "on" and I had not changed anything anyway for some years, so I don't know why CCleaner is now not deleting all the history files. I think perhaps this newest version (4.02.4115) might have a bug in it when trying to run on the latest version of MS IE 10? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
