Normaly using the laptop on a desk of on your lap makes no differens to the heating of the laptop. the only things that makes differens are the ventilation and the CPU use. A friend had a problem with his laptop that windows said there was a heat problem after 15 a 20 min. The problem was that the ventilation holes where filled with dust and .... After cleaning this the laptop worked perfectly.

On vacation with the laptop? If I do that I will get the divorce papers. But I like the fact that you are working on the code conversion for v2! I look forward for the screenshots!

I prefere a fast good program with a fixed skin befor a skinnable program thats not so fast!

I also forgot to say I'm available as beta tester too!

seems like it's going to be a very nice software. I will frequently check the web site. althrough I love CCleaner I have the same question als TheFiresInTheSky: Is the totally recoded CCleaner version2 plan still active or did you stoped that project?

thank you for your reply's. Grzegorz: Winmerge is a great opensource programe but for me the feature to save the differences in a file is some great advantage of Exam and thats why I choise ExamDiff befor winmerge. TonyKlein: Thank you TonyKlein.

Dear All, Does somebody know a good windows component uninstaller. With the build-in uninstaller you can not uninstall every unnecessary component. Can you please help me with this?

good news! Thanks MrG for the great software

When I became IT administrator from the PC's at work I had to use diskeeper lite (free) on a 2000 server because the windows defragmentation didn't do the job. download for the rest I use the windows defragmenter.

I'll have used Advaced Window Care V2. From my point of view it works but it does also do things that "harm" your OS. After I used AWC I had to re?nstall my pc because a custom made software didn't worked anymore. After the re?nstall we re-used AWC and saw that ther where thing that AWC disabled witch are important for my software. so we let AWC do his work with unchecking these item and everything works fine and the PC works a little bit better overall.

I CCleaner. I'll use it already from version 1.25.201!
