    Sorry for not specifying. I am running the 32 bit version 2.10.413 on Vista.

    Starting with version 2.10.413 if settings are saved to an .ini file UpdateCheck=0 is ignored and the program still tries to connect to the internet if UpdateKey=00000000 is more than 10 days old.
