I enjoy coding in a variety of languages, reading fantasy books (my favorite series is The Sword of Truth, by Terry Goodkind), writing fantasy stories that rarely get published or even read by another, role-playing games (World of Warcraft! :-), role-playing in general, doing graphic and web design, and (very rarely) drawing.
  1. I think it would be nice if, instead of automatically searching whenever the search box is edited, Recuva would wait for a few seconds of idle time after a key being pressed, say, three seconds. Having it re-search every time I press a key really slows me down, even on a dual-core system. Love the software, saved me from re-doing a whole weeks worth of school work on the night before turning it in...
  2. I think it would be really useful if double-clicking on the entries in the Tools/Uninstall screen would start the installer instead of attempt to rename them - perhaps a system similar to the one used in Explorer? Quick double-click launches the uninstaller, select then click again starts an inlaid editor for renaming instead of a dialog box. When I'm removing all of the damn Catalyst Control Center localizations, it's kind of annoying to have to move my mouse back and forth like sixty times. Great software, been using it for two years, keep it up!
  3. Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic. I've used it for a few months (Norton 2006 started being weird), been virus-free for three reformats. BTW: I'm new =)
