  1. An entry for removing these empty "tw-*.tmp" folders has existed for quite some time: [System Profile Temp Folders *]
  2. Thanks for the revised and new entries. Winapp2.ini updates: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/0201f9a9c56a86d046e70fd5c84f8cf854a6d80d https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/5c5c1a8ce81c1e0824350024a37d3f1b8e143880 Winapp3.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/9bceee426d96829e17486be01c9aae2a86e674d6
  3. This entry already exists, as it does for all other Chromium-based browsers. [Edge Bookmarks Icons Extras *] LangSecRef=3006 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Edge* Warning=This will delete all the icons of your bookmarks. The icons will be rebuilt as websites are manually re-visited. FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Edge*\User Data\*|Favicons However, these entries were moved to "removed entries.ini" after you reported in October 2019 that CCleaner now correctly deletes orphaned icons (from bookmarks that no longer exist). If this is no longer the case, then you should report the bug under "CCleaner Bug Reporting".
  4. Thanks for the revised entries. Winapp2.ini updates: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/feef4b9f199a4eba3d15a748621d82c739350276 Winapp3.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/2ae1ef092d5bee672f76c38c7e831f94ed8c48b5
  5. Just my humble opinion: Since the category (LangSecRef, Section) has no impact on the function of an entry, but only on the visual sorting in the user interface, this effort is not really worth it. In addition, the categories between the different lists (winapp.ini, winapp2.ini, removed entries.ini, winapp3.ini) are now well aligned, so a mass change could mess things up again.
  6. Just to be sure: These folders are Chromium-based and use LevelDB. The *.log files are therefore not usual logfiles but important database files. Therefore, all files of a database (*.ldb;*.log;CURRENT;LOCK;LOG;LOG.old;MANIFEST-*) should always be deleted or only the real logfiles (LOG;LOG.old). https://github.com/google/leveldb/blob/master/doc/impl.md
  7. Thanks for the modified, revised and new entries. Winapp2.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/4b7233ce183fbae306ed23742bdd1ed9fcc89519
  8. Thank you for the revised and new entries. However, the "People" app is not part of the "Mail and Calendar" app. The "People" app has always had its own package "Microsoft.People_*" and its own entry [People *]. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/microsoft-people/9nblggh10pg8 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/mail-and-calendar/9wzdncrfhvqm The package of an app can be found out very quickly: just drag and drop the icon to the desktop, right click and choose properties. A search using the package name also works. Just execute these links via "Run": ms-windows-store://pdp/?PFN=Microsoft.People_8wekyb3d8bbwe ms-windows-store://pdp/?PFN=microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe ms-windows-store://pdp/?PFN=Microsoft.549981C3F5F10_8wekyb3d8bbwe Note: This search only works for apps that are available in the Microsoft Store. (System apps will therefore not be found).
  9. The new "Cortana" app is just a voice-controlled user interface extension for "Windows Search". The new "Cortana" app can now also be removed quite easily and this removes the package "Microsoft.549981C3F5F10_*" and not the package "Microsoft.Windows.Search_*", which is still used for many other search tasks. By the way, the new "Cortana" app has been supported by the existing [Cortana *] entry for months now. In addition, many people still use Windows 8.1 or older Windows 10 versions, so we can't simply remove the existing entries either. So, in summary, everything is correct as it is and there is no reason to change anything. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-uninstall-cortana-windows-10-may-2020-update

  15. Thanks for the revised entry. From time to time there are log files, such as: Winapp2.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/10b0af1848745e7582db3919e3fe378056f86303
  16. The option "Network Passwords" clears the Windows Vault. This is where most Windows and Microsoft credentials are usually stored. As nukecad has already written, not necessarily. "0 Bytes" is also always shown if, for example, only registry entries were cleaned. And sometimes "Analyze" thinks that it cannot delete a file, although it is then deleted via "Run Cleaner". But anyway, the problem fortunately no longer occurs.
  17. Have you possibly enabled the "Network Passwords" option (Custom Clean > Windows > Windows Explorer)?
  18. Thanks for the modified entries. Winapp2.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/27491e124b8e164a26b7af2553a2ce3f34ddadef

  20. Yes, the bug seems to be fixed now (v5.75.8238). I had no more .dmp files until now.
  21. FileKey8,12,16 are already covered by FileKey3: FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\Dell\*\Log|*.*|RECURSE FileKey9,11 are already covered by FileKey4: FileKey4=%CommonAppData%\Dell\*\Logs|*.* This behavior will probably be fixed in the next version of CCleaner.
  22. Winapp2.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/3a5c7fe9ad4d759b02cccf7c0ca5e0400d0d443f Winapp3.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/6f4bd3b6b2a10d79363a2c8bbf0c30ced9fcefcc
  23. Strange, since the bug report is still open: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1413615 But never mind, if the problem exists only since a few versions, then the CCleaner developers should have a look.
  24. JFYI: Firefox seems to handle this in the same way. If you enable "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed", Service Workers will not work either.
  25. Thanks for the revised entry. Winapp2.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/ad7ccd0e929ce77cf64e94b960564613212078ba Winapp3.ini update: https://github.com/MoscaDotTo/Winapp2/commit/8df4aa4291e388b5479a02e588fdf564c0791dc8
