  1. I can't confirm this behaviour. CC starts without a password prompt on my system (Win7 Pro. X64). But I unselect the new option “Skip User Account Control Warning” always. Maybe this option causes your problem?
  2. Thanks for the big update! Missed entries: #1824 Modified entry: Entry with typo: I think you can remove the entry ;[Macromedia Flashplayer*], because it seems that the RegKey doesn't exist anymore.
  3. Strange, iTunes showed this behaviour only after I removed the empty subfolders from the cache folder. That's why the entry doesn't remove the subfolders and deletes the files only. Anyway I think it's better to add a warning line for this special case, instead of removing the entry. I never had problems with QuickTime and iTunes until now. Warning=You have to reinstall iTunes after adding a new windows user account. Thanks for your information. I don't use this entry. So the creator of the entry should comment this please. My suggestion is that entries for deleting setup files should be separate entries always. So everybody will be happy. [Windows Live Messenger Setup Files*] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Live\Messenger Warning=After running this, you will not be able to uninstall Windows Live Essentials components without downloading the installer again. Default=False FileKey1=%LocalLowAppData%\Microsoft\Windows Live\Setup|*.*|REMOVESELF
  4. Can you tell us why, please? The "Apple Installer Cache" entry does not prevent updates or an uninstallation. Thanks for your modified entries.
  5. Thanks for the update. Missed entries / suggestions: #1695 #1690 I found some typos: And does anybody know if the backslash before "Last_Machine_Connections" is correct on RegKey4? Shouldn't it be a pipe | symbol?
  6. Also with Chrome the temp folders for Flash are still the same, so the DetectFile for Flash should be enough. Based on the recent discussion, here is my suggestion for the Flash entries: [Adobe Flash Player More*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer DetectFile=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player\ Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player\AssetCache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%WinDir%\System32\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log FileKey3=%WinDir%\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log [Adobe Flash Player Settings*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer DetectFile=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player\ Warning=This will delete all your settings, including saved data from flash games! Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player|*.*|RECURSE
  7. You are absolutely right! We can use the path of a FileKey line also for a DetectFile line. Sometimes you don't see the obvious.
  8. I use the same settings. That's why I wrote this previous post: 1711. But I think that most users never change the settings, so maybe the new and more "aggressive" entry could be better. But because we don't know what the majority wants, your suggestion for a separate entry would be a fair solution.
  9. Yes, I know this. But as Nergal wrote already, a bad thing is that the "settings.sol" also contains a complete list of all visited domains using flash! I don't know what is more important here, settings or privacy? If you want to keep your settings you can add this line: ExcludeKey1=FILE|%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys|settings.sol
  10. Thanks for the updated file. You've missed few posts / entries: #1695 and #1690. Maybe you can modify the "Flash Player" entry and add a warning message: [Adobe Flash Player More*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect1=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer Detect2=HKCU\Software\Chromium DetectFile1=%localappdata%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile2=%ProgramFiles%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile3=%localappdata%\Flock\Application\flock.exe DetectFile4=%ProgramFiles%\Flock\Application\flock.exe DetectFile5=%localappdata%\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile6=%ProgramFiles%\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile7=%localappdata%\SRWare Iron\iron.exe DetectFile8=%ProgramFiles%\SRWare Iron\iron.exe DetectFile9=%ProgramFiles%\Chromium\chrome.exe DetectFile10=%localappdata%\Chromium\chrome.exe DetectFile11=%ProgramFiles%\Chromium\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile12=%localappdata%\Chromium\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile13=%AppData%\ChromePlus\chrome.exe DetectFile14=%localappdata%\RockMelt\Application\rockmelt.exe DetectFile15=%ProgramFiles%\RockMelt\Application\rockmelt.exe DetectFile16=%LocalAppData%\Comodo\Dragon\dragon.exe DetectFile17=%ProgramFiles%\Comodo\Dragon\dragon.exe Warning=This will delete your settings, including saved data from flash games! Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player|*.*|RECURSE FileKey3=%WinDir%\System32\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log FileKey4=%WinDir%\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log
  11. Is there a file to detect the built-in Flash if you use Chrome only?
  12. Sorry, but you are wrong. The current entry clears the AssetCache and the FlashInstall.log only. [Adobe Flash Player More*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player\AssetCache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%WinDir%\System32\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log FileKey3=%WinDir%\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log And I don't think that anybody really wants to delete the settings of a program. You are right, thanks! Here are all detect lines: Detect2=HKCU\Software\Chromium DetectFile1=%localappdata%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile2=%ProgramFiles%\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile3=%localappdata%\Flock\Application\flock.exe DetectFile4=%ProgramFiles%\Flock\Application\flock.exe DetectFile5=%localappdata%\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile6=%ProgramFiles%\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile7=%localappdata%\SRWare Iron\iron.exe DetectFile8=%ProgramFiles%\SRWare Iron\iron.exe DetectFile9=%ProgramFiles%\Chromium\chrome.exe DetectFile10=%localappdata%\Chromium\chrome.exe DetectFile11=%ProgramFiles%\Chromium\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile12=%localappdata%\Chromium\Application\chrome.exe DetectFile13=%AppData%\ChromePlus\chrome.exe DetectFile14=%localappdata%\RockMelt\Application\rockmelt.exe DetectFile15=%ProgramFiles%\RockMelt\Application\rockmelt.exe DetectFile16=%LocalAppData%\Comodo\Dragon\dragon.exe DetectFile17=%ProgramFiles%\Comodo\Dragon\dragon.exe
  13. Sorry, I don't know why. This detect line is used by all Chrome entries.
  14. If you add this line to the entry [Adobe Flash Player More*]: You have to add this line also: ExcludeKey1=FILE|%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys|settings.sol Otherwise all your settings are gone! Example for modified entry: [Adobe Flash Player More*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect1=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer Detect2=HKCU\Software\Chromium Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Adobe\Flash Player|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player|*.*|RECURSE FileKey3=%WinDir%\System32\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log FileKey4=%WinDir%\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash|FlashInstall.log ExcludeKey1=FILE|%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys|settings.sol
  15. Good, thank you for your reply.
  16. Thanks for the update! But did you accidentally miss my post or is this entry still necessary?
  17. This entry could be removed from winapp2.ini because CC includes it already.
  18. Thanks for your reply. It seems that the new version of CC ignores the UAC now. It doesn't make a difference if you select yes or no - CC starts with standard privileges only. But if you start the command prompt with the windows option "run as administrator" and then execute the parameter /EXPORT everything works fine again. So we have to use "run as administrator" always now?
  19. Thank you for the update. Above the entry [Windows Mail*] a blank line is missing.
  20. Hello, with the new version 3.19.1721 (Portable) the command line parameter /EXPORT doesn't work anymore. After the UAC nothing happens (Windows 7 x64). Any idea? Thanks and kind regards, Michael
  21. Right, for the update only file (AdbeRdrUpd1013.msp) this is ok. But also the full installer file (AdbeRdr1013_xx_XX.exe) refuses the update even though it includes all the necessary files - and that is ridiculous.
  22. I can confirm this behaviour for the latest update (10.1.3). It's ridiculous that also the full installer wants those files and refuses the installation without them. What was Adobe thinking?! The installation of the prior update worked flawless, so this problem couldn't have been foreseen.
  23. I'm back from my vacation. Thanks for the update. Following two suggestions are missed: Please change the following entry, because RegKey2 and 3 are included in winapp.ini of CCleaner now: I think you can remove the following entry, because RegKey and FileKey are included in winapp.ini of CCleaner (for Office 2003, 2007 and 2010): And between the entries [Windows Log Files More*] and [Windows Mail*] is no blank line.
