  1. CCleaner is currently the best registry cleaner that I've dealt with, one reason for that is its safety. I've managed to find over 1000 and sometimes around 2000 registry errors with CCleaner, it's rare, but possible. I've also "fixed" (cleaned) those with CCleaner without any problems.
  2. <-- Mentioned earier. Path depends on the version.
  3. CCleaner version? Portable or installed? Have you waited long enough (sometimes takes time to show the restore points in CCleaner)?
  4. Are those files locked in safemode?
  5. Could you provide a screenshot? Maybe the files are locked? Which OS are you using?

    DDR3 RAM SPEEDS.

Do you mean MHz or MT? Because 1600MT = 800Mhz.

Speccy version? Could you describe how it's not read correctly (screenshot maybe)?
  8. Do you have "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 24 hours" ticked in CCleaner Options/Advanced?
  9. Exact CCleaner version? Windows version? Have you tried to untick "Session" under Thunderbird (in CCleaner)? It seems to reset Quick Filter.
  10. I don't know anyone who uses or owns a Blackberry..
  11. Also Thunderbird got updated to v17.0.6
  12. YUMI is very useful and easy to use, I've been using it for years to create multibootable USB (Hiren's, UBCD, Memtest, Puppy/Linux etc..).
  13. I've moved my pagefile back to SSD, but I've reduced its size to 512MB. IMO setting (fixed) pagefile on SSD is better choice (faster). Here's similar chat/guide (SSD with Win7, could/should be updated a bit though): http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=34924 What I've done is; - Checked that TRIM is on & supported - Reduced size of fixed pagefile (moved it back to SSD) - Disabled defrag, hibernate, system restore, indexing+search, Superfetch/Prefetch - Keeping SSD firmware up-to-date - Keeping AHCI drivers (Intel RST) up-to-date
  14. We were "loyal" to Nokia for many years and we had several diffierent models from Nokia past years. But it was (still is pretty) good years ago! Might be something to do with the location. We didn't/don't have much RIM/Blackberries here. Ahh..... I'll answer to these some day, but not now. Nice Apple fanboy spam! GJ Shane!
  15. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling CCleaner or tried the portable version?
  16. Currently I've just one (POP) email account in Thunderbird. Even after compacting my profile folder (under %AppData%\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles) takes 600MB. What do you mean by "compacting folders manually"? Compacting all folders individually in Thunderbird (right-click -> compact for each folder)? I've done that, too. Edit. I've ~3000 mails and many of them contain attachments.
  17. Have you closed your browser completely? There might be some background processes running even if you close Chrome "normally". And I assume you are using CCleaner v4.01.4093 (25 Apr 2013)..?
  18. CCleaner version? Have you ticked Adobe Flash? Which browser (also which version) are you using and did you close it completely?
  19. Me + some colleagues at work: "Where the hell are all the f*ing settings?!?!?" "There are none! : ))" Also wireless file transfer is (almost) impossible. The filesystem sucks (Windows doesn't recognize it as a "storage" device) etc.. Damn I hate Apple.
  20. Android, of course! Easier to use (really!) and customizable (which iOS is not). Had to work with a few iPads at work and damn it was painful. :I I'm using SGS2 with Android 4.1.2. Even Windows OS would be better than iOS.. And how it is buggy..?
  21. Shouldn't take that long. Which CCleaner & Windows version are you (/she) using? Are you using Secure Deletion (in CCleaner)? Have you tried rebooting and reinstalling CCleaner? Did you have IE closed when you used CCleaner?
  22. NEW ENTRY [Neverwinter (beta)*] Section=Games Detect=HKCU\Software\Cryptic\Neverwinter Default=False FileKey1=%SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios|*.log|RECURSE FileKey2=%SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios\localdata|_SWMWindowPosList.txt
  23. Works just fine on Win7 64bit + CCleaner v4.01.4093 + Firefox 20.0.1. Why are you using so old version of Firefox?
