The laptop had to go on a vacation, so I have to wait until it's return next week to get the list of files. I do remember System Volume Information listed among them. Vista laptop. 1st ran Windows Defrag overnight, then d/l'd Defraggler. Analyse = 53% so ran full defrag over many hours. Shows complete but next analyse still shows 53% fragmented. Have now Defragglered about 4 times & it still lists 53% fragmented. Not sure what other info you might need to explain this to me. NTFS 230GB harddrive, 163GB free. I read through the help docs but didn't find this issue described. Thanks! Gail
