  1. Well, I'm in the Caribbean and a 8 year user of CCLEANER ... I have received no such Email notification I would view it with EXTREME suspicion ...given the recent Ccleaner hack ..
  2. ...Hello All.. Coming from Jamaica.. Four days ago after a bout of Uninstalling ( oon a Windows XP Pro, T41 Think Pad ), I began to get a noisy pop-up that said : "An exception occurred while trying to run "newdev.dll,ClientSideInstall \\.pipe\PNP_ Device_Install-Pipe_0.{BB467A6-B8D6-4CEF-8468-BCE39B793B5A}"" .. I found out what a DLL is, what it does, and that "PROCESS LIBRARY" says "NEWDEV.DLL" should not be removed...!! OK.. downloaded your product, and clicked in positive response to the already "in place" checks... Nothing blew up, and there were 300+ registry "issues"...I clicked "fix" and got two messages... I ran it again in about 40 mins ( the computer was much more responsive ) and there were five issues ..Numbers 1 and 5 read, respectively.. 1). Unused file extn (the reg key was)... HKCR\urn:content-classes:contentclassdef 2). Open with Application Issue (the reg key was... HKCR\Applications\rnxproc.exe Ccleaner told me these were remnants of uninstalled files and their VALUES must be removed ... Now, ... which item is the "VALUE" in the KEY chain?? Do I use "REGEDIT" to do this? I find your product quite intuitive, and, as I go along, hope to be of some help.. tony in Ja...
