  1. You make things easy to understand, thank you again. You should be a teacher; maybe you are!
  2. Thanks for the concise response. What are the items called that chkdsk X:/f puts into the log? It is not necessary for you to answer, because you have already told me the important things, and I appreciate it.

    Chkdsk

Does CCleaner eliminate the need to run chkdsk X:/f? I have read that it cleans up any fragmented and useless files left behind. Thank you, you teach and I learn......Jack
  4. Thank you! This is a great relief! Yup, its!
  5. Right away, something that would help me bigtime, anything might be considered risky for a beginner that is in the delete list could be color coded, red for prime example, this way beginners, I, would have immediate warning to hold off on delete until further study of the item has been done. There could be general color coding for every facet of CCleaner. Jack
  6. Thank you, Henry, for asking my questions. And: Thank you Krit for the great link. I hope everyone checks out the OPTIONS dropdown menue when available. I downloaded the html version of the Beginners' Guide. As young folks might say, this site is "too cool." (I am a born Show-Me boy living in Spain)
