  1. In that case I will stick with Defraggler then... lol but thx anyway.
  2. yup.. its sad because I still use Defraggler every day... and I don't know of any other good defragging tools I can use.. lol as good as defraggler..
  3. lol, I noticed this issue too. most defrags I do on a regular basis complete around 70% to 72% if its a single file its more like 40% to 45% when completed.
  4. bumping my thread. still no updates to Defraggler released to the general public.. I am so sad.
  5. Piriform, you say you have updated Defraggler for business..?! why no updates for general release? please don't abandon your customers I paid once for Defraggler a long time ago.. there is no point to pay for it since you have made no updates in years... :(
  6. I am still not happy about the fact that CCleaner is force enabling the Windows system restore feature.. when checking for driver updates.. so I have stayed with v6.02 for laptop....
  7. I don't bother with third party imaging tools.. I rely on good luck... lol.. so I won't be using CCleaner's driver updater goign forward because of this issue I mentioned with System restore always being re-enabled... even when I disable it... and will keep the version on my laptop at v6.02 before Piriform stared doing this on us...
  8. ok I will keep that in mind. next time it happens if it does.. I still don't like it being on... I can start in safemode if I have an issue to roll back a change.. I don't want it turning on System Restore every time I check for driver updates... its eating up my write cycles of my Samsung EVO 970 NVMe SSD 1TB
  9. I use the Pro version.. so the slim installer might not be the best fit.. I do keep the CCleaner pro download link bookmarked... so I grabbed that already.. and btw when ever I go to do a driver update check... it re-enables the System Restore feature even though I Don't want it enabled on my NVMe system/boot drive.. so I don't bother suing that feature anymore...
  10. it seems as though it does not like my license key.. which is good till next June 24th 2023... CCleaner requests I purchase or enter a key. fix please.?
  11. As it happens I am running Windows 11 Pro x64 on a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVMe SSD. Using the Samsung NVMe driver.
  12. well that explains why the version of CCleaner that auto launches during the update process is already on the latest version... now we just need a fix for it.
  13. thx for the url list. I have downgraded back to CCleaner (v6.02.9938) and the issue no longer happens..
