  1. Well, it's seems Firefox was updating itself (not because I opened it) and that option caused the cleaning, I stopped all options for updates (I never added them) and the cleaning seems not to be happening now, Thankyou for al the helpful suggestions....
  2. I have Firefox installed BUT I never open it. I also have Chrome and Opera installed and NEVER open them either, Firefox keeps reporting it's cleaning at times, Chrome and Opera don't and I use Edge Chromium only so it reports cleaning of course. I still don't understand why suddenly Firefox reports cleaning, I must be missing something? Is this a bug?
  3. I only use the Edge based Chromium browser NEVER anything else.... I have other browsers installed but never use or open them, like Opera, Chrome, Firefox....
  4. I have Firefox installed on my computer but NEVER use it, CCleaner keeps reporting it's cleaning it, why?
  5. Does anyone from CCleaner Support/Dev team see/review this forum or is it just a joke with people who don't even use the browser in question with the latest product ask questions? I'd think a Moderator could say I have forwarded your problem to the Dev team, NOT say sorry Steve I don't even use Chrome with this product, I just ask questions I can't really answer!!!
  6. Hi, So is anyone else having this problem? No one has answered. I backed off Chrome to stable and the problem was still there. I also backed off CCleaner to an older version V5.36.6278 and the problem also still existed, I never noticed it in the last version but it was there... Thanks for any info
  7. Same thing happens when I reverted to Chrome stable channel 62.0.3202.94 today.
  8. Google Chrome is up to date Version 63.0.3239.52 (Official Build) beta (64-bit Here is a screenshot showing google chrome closing but not displaying bytes cleaned. CC works properly in edge and firefox when those browsers are closed.
  9. Hi All, Using the latest pro version CCleaner when I close the chrome browser, it doesn't show the amount saved but it does in all other browsers closing. Why is that?
  10. Hi, When CCleaner PRO cleans my Goolgle Chrome browser, it never reports the amount of space/it saves, it used to and does on all other browsers? How come?
  11. Hi, I'd really like to see an option in the GUI for a larger font as my sight is really BAD. I don't want to change the font on my whole system as almost everything else is OK, why does the font need to be so SMALL for CCleaner? It's like you are afraid to show how much you cleaned, PLEASE be more BOLD, PLEASE!!! Thanks for listening, Steve
  12. Hi I see 3 options, Google Yahoo Bing Let me try to change the options to Yahoo & report back!!
  13. Hi Everyone, I'm using CCleaner V3.16.1666 (64 bit), I'm using Windows 7 X64 and Google Chrome version 18.0.1025.108. Every time I run CCleaner then open my Google Chrome browser I receive a message that something is trying to take over my search on my browser, see this screenshot for the message http://screencast.com/t/hHCc8Xxvy but it is a false indication. CCleaner seems to be wiping out something in Chrome to cause this message, is anyone else experiencing this & is there a possible solution? Thanks for any help, Steve
  14. OK, Google Chrome even the DEV version 14.0.825.0 works just fine with the current version of CCleaner, you can NOT be using SYNC or cloud printing in Chrome & then everything is working perfectly with CCleaner! Steve
  15. OK, I have some more information, I was using Google Sync and I was trying Google Cloud Print, I stopped both of those, now I think CCleaner is working!
