  1. Do you want fries and the kitchen sink with that, too?
  2. I can't believe it could be this simple: close Firefox and make sure it's not set to delete cookies on exit. See this thread: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=27582
  3. Hm, perhaps is the is amount of data you are keeping and not the number of restore points. I am very confused about this myself, because I have it turned off on my Windows 7 machine with 0 bytes allocated, but CCleaner is still showing 2 Windows Update restore points.
  4. O.o Holy cow. What a simple solution. Thanks for posting. I thought this was a bug with CCleaner in Windows 7.
  5. Actually, you can, but not in the CCleaner options. Navigate Windows Explorer to - Control Panel - System and Security and click "Change User Account Control settings". Pull the slider all the way down to the bottom so that it says "Never Notify". Of course, this is not recommended, but if you have a good antivirus/firewall program and are careful with the sites you visit, you should be fine with this setting.
  6. Both of the Piriform skins literally hurt my eyes. Not enough contrast. CCleaner for me.
  7. Updating now. Thank you.
  8. How much space have you allocated for System Restore and how long do you keep them? I have noticed that it takes quite a bit longer to load that particular section when there are more restore points on the list.
  9. CCleaner 2.30.1130 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Firefox 3.6.2 None of my Firefox cookies show up on the list and I don't use Internet Explorer at all. Edit note: It's not a bug. See this thread: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=27582
  10. I have this same issue where CCleaner isn't displaying all of my cookies. In fact, it only displays one from msn.com no matter how many websites I visit, which I think is from my desktop widgets. Actually, I just opened Internet Explorer to merely check the version for this post and now it's showing all of the third party cookies from the default MSN startup page, so it would appear that CCleaner is only displaying cookies from Internet Explorer and not Firefox, which is the one that I use. Here are my browsing specs: MS Windows 7 Home, Firefox 3.6.2, Internet Explorer 8 (never used), and CCleaner 2.30 installed in OS (C:)\Program Files(x86)\CCleaner. (Note: this has been a problem with every version of CCleaner and Firefox installed on my Windows 7 machine. It works fine with my Windows XP SP3 machine). Adobe Flash plugin is installed but doesn't appear as an option to check anywhere within CCleaner. The only multimedia applications available to check are Media Player Classic and Windows Media Player, both of which are checked. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Edit note: My Windows 7 version is 64-bit.
