perhaps is not enough free space for defrag? you need in approximately 15%, more is better of course.
its also a question of file-sizes... if you have many GB-sized files, its not so good. especially in conjunction with not enough free space.
another question is your page-file-size and your hibernation-file. this are secured/protected files from windows

how many dvd-backups do you have on your 2 hdds?
also, try selecting each of those files manually in File List, right click, Move highlighted to end of drive.if mtas advice not work, copy your dvd-backups to ... usbstick or so ... defrag your hdds ... then move your copy dvd-backups from usbstick back to your hdd. perhaps this helps (and your hdds have a lot of work less.)

It all leaves me a lot happier because I was convincing myself that my download was a light version of the full 'home download'... the home-version is the light-version of pro-version. but i understand what you mean
i would get even the homeversion for my 8.1 but i didnt it now, perhaps later this year or 2016.

w8.1 seems to be different.
in download i have only a few kb
and the hole softwaredsitribution have 130 mb...

yes but piriforms space is limited up to 2 mb or so for uploads.
its better you take an image hosting site and simply pick up the offered link with you pic to put it in our post.

Could it be that because they are stopped means they are not working at this time rather than unable to run?
no, these are all services in state "manual" and "disabled".
services in state "manual" can be enabled if its required. if they stopped, they dont work at this time. --> conserving resources
(some services must be set to "automatically" otherwise the functionality of Windows is endangered.)

Speccy is indicating that only about 50% of my Windows 10 services are running! Is this normal,
i think its ok. already in previous versions of Windows were not all services running.
Some are set to "automatically"
others to "manual"
and a couple of "disabled"
on my 8.1 are perhaps 1/4 enabled and the rest is stopped. its normal.
many of the services are started if they are needed, and some are from Microsoft already disabled (will not start). among the services there are also dependencies, which then restart other services that were previously stopped. (but not deactivated)
however, i can not help you in terms of services-control in Windows 10. i have only all previous Windows-Versions but not WX.

i have the portable browser SRWare Iron w8.1 as well as 2x xp as counterpart of firefox.
only in Windows 8.1 appears the iron-browser for cleaning.not in xp. is there a reason?

on my 370 gb partition of windowsdrive was my hibernationfile 6,24 GB and pagefile 8 GB fragmented and it shows me 7% or so. all others are ok. the only thing i could to was to deactivate these files (the pagefile i moved to another partition for the defragmentation process.), then defragment the windowsdrive and then activate the files again. -now are these files in one piece.
perhaps also the systemrestorepoints...
have you some large other files? movies. images...
have you looked at the tab "File list" after "Analyze"?
what say the windows-defragmenter? does it work?
