If I could make one request/suggestion please: In the Cleaner Tab the cleaner activation button is on the bottom right and in the Registry Tab the Scan Button is on the bottom left. Could you please place both buttons in both tabs on either the right or the left?

I had thought about trying that, but I still want to have the most up-to-date version. Hopefully Piriform will see it as a bug and fix it in the next release...

Speccy freezes and can't be stopped from taskmanager
Mike2 replied to lucas21's topic in Speccy Bug Reporting
Hi Lucas21, Would you mind to describe the computer? I see you are running Windows 8 64bit which tells me a little bit about the processor, but more would help. Also what else is running in the background that could be soaking up your memory. How much memory do you have? One last question, are there any other issues going on? -
It is installed on my desktop computer. Now Speccy is doing it also.

Seriously? Am I the only one this has happened to? This thing really has me puzzled. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the icon still turns generic after the first use from the Task Bar. I have 4 desktops and 2 laptops and it does it on all of them.
-
Have you tried uninstalling Speccy and downloading a fresh copy and reinstalling?
-
I am running Windows 7 Pro 64Bit. When I download Speccy and Pin its icon to the quick launch bar the icon turns genaric after the first use and will not change back to the speccy icon. The Ccleaner Icon is not affected. Speccy works perfectly under the generic icon, I just like the Speccy Icon. Can anyone tell me what I am missing?
-
When I pin the Speccy Icon to the Quick Launch task bar, the Icon goes away when I delete the Speccy shortcut from the desktop in Windows XP. I do the exact same thing with Ccleaner and Defraggler and the icons remain in Quick Launch after deleting their shortcuts. Any Suggestions? Thanks, Mike

When restarting or turning off the computer I get a DDE windows server shutting down message. Then a message with a End Now button to click. The computer will not shut down until I click it. Any suggestions? Regards, Mike
