  1. I''ve got about 50 registry integrity issues of the form: Problem: Open with application issue Data: Applications\QuickTimePlayer.exe\shell Key: HKCR\Applications\QuickTimePlayer.exe In most cases the relevant application is still installed, and still working. Why do these keys come up? For example quicktime is installed at C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QuickTimePlayer.exe
  2. To reproduce: Install cccleaner from a user account. It will 'seem' to install correctly. However it won't run. CCleaner appears to ignore the errors that must happen when setting registry keys. Test environment: Tested several times on Windows 2000. CCleaner 1.24.80 Workaround: Log in as administator before installing.
