I discovered that I had not checked the Opera Cookies deletion option in the Applications Tab on the Main Interface. Clean as a whistle now. Sorry for wasting time - but maybe this is useful to others.

The list to which I am referring is to be found in Options / Cookies where two columns are presented. The left column lists deleted cookies which can be transferred to the right column which will protect them from future deletion, but there is no option to permanently remove items from the left column. Note that I have checked all the cookies deletion options in the main interface.

Privacy leakage occurs because it is not possible to remove cookies from the list of Cookies to Delete - a list which seems to build cumulatively.

I too am experiencing the problem with Wipe Free Space stuck at 98% and never finishing. It happens with CCleaner v2.20.920 as well as its predecessor.
