  4. Hi does anyone know how to add the 'Version tab' on executable files?
  5. I see you've never used winapp2.ini or winsys2.ini. That's ok though. Start CCleaner and go to cleaner->Windows Tab-> System -> System restore point. Right click and click clean to create a restore point. Or just check it and click Run Cleaner

  8. Noticed that and was very disappointed. I was making a program that when i tested it several times created many system restore points, i wanted to wipe them. Hope they add that
  9. With the power of google, this is possible with a binary search
  10. Welcome to the forums! That would be a very good idea because CCleaner can be very RAM hungry, which makes multitasking difficult. Also, when you add a topic, instead of 'New Feature' be a little bit more specific like 'Add pause button to CCleaner' The official rules are here: http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?act=an...p;f=4&id=15
  11. Depending on you Acceptable Use, saying that's a work computer try this ;Batch File that will allow;you to remove registry restrictionreg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system /v DisableRegistryToolsy Save this as a batch file to your desktop and double click it. Originally, I made this to help stop a virus that was blocking my registry. If this doesn't work you might have to do HKU\{SID} instead
  12. Most definitely switch to avast. Avast is very light weight and is amazing compared to other free AVs.
  13. Funny you should mention a System Restore Cleanup, i was just thinking about suggesting a VB script to CREATE a point! Anyway, great addition
  14. What security software do you have? Are you behind a proxy? Do you have a router and/or hardware firewall? Is it Windows Update that fails, or automatic updates?
  15. Yeah thats news, although i thought there was already a similar feature there
  16. I'm trying to use my program but it still is giving bugs... grrrrrrr. I'll work on it and release it later
  17. Depending on HD fragmentation and size thats normal. You should re-do that so that the file thats involved in clearing disk space is deleted
