[May not show in Add and Remove?? = If not, use the Macromedia Uninstallers??] Next Go to URL [May have to copy and paste into Internet Address Field] [Note This Web Page is Slow to Open??? = Both of the Adobe Player Uninstallers and the Program are shown in the Web Page] www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/ Then use the Macromedia Uninstallers of Macromedia Flash Player and Shock WavePlayer ''Uninstall Programs'' and repeat using the Unistallers a couple of times to make sure that all the unininstall has been done [clean] and then install both their latest Macromedia players as available from within this web page. May be worth the try to see if overcomes your problems ------------------------ 2] I found if I "Disabled" the Add-Ons of = Shockwave Flash Object... = SSV Helper Class ....= Sun Java Console...= I can access/view the Web sites I had problems with! [The "Add-Ons" found within = Toolbar = Tools = Manage Add-ons...] You may have to also try some of the other Add-Ons??? An alternative place you can access them from is = Right Click Internet Explorer [icon] = Properties = Program [folder] = Manage AddOns [button] = and within you can locate the ones I have listed? 2. Thanks for your reply! I feel at the moment as I am having no other problems with my computer I will leave all as is? When I delete/or uncheck the kbd from within the "Issues" = the KeePass program still is fully fuctional and can use KeeePass without any problems. Yes I know the file does form automatically again! The process to modify the computer's program seems extensive? Yes. So I will just continue as is! Possibly CCleaner programmers in the near future may with the program have in the =Options = Custom = Immune = Many thanks Colin
  3. Yes I save the KeyPass backup to a folder in "My Documents" = Makes it very easy to have same on my CD backup ------------------ By the way I just added another suggestion for the CCleaner Programmers to look at = Just had another look within the CCleaner Program and feel if the programmers could give us within = Options = Custom = the process to immune a file from further scans Thanks for your reply Regards Colin
  4. Hi, Thanks to krit86lr Gave some more thought re the "kbd" file? Yes after removing same in CCleaner I found coming up repeatable with every scan I thought I would do a "search" for same and found it in a folder in "My Documents" The file "Data Base. kdb" [without the quotes] is a data bank file relating to KeyPass [A Free Password Program which I use! If I temorary delete same to the "Recycle Bin" and do a "Issue" scan the scan shows "No Issues were Found" Possibly if we had a way for CCleaner to immune a file from the further scans I feel it is something the CCleaner programmers could look at in the future Yes congratulations CCleaner is a great program --------------------------------------- By the way = Re the Word 2002 Options problem = I found by only having the =Applications = Office XP =- unchecked = my modified options stay in place! Thankyou for your reply Regards Colin
  5. When using = CCleaner = Issues / Scan = I have the file = kdb = repeatedly appearing. After using CCleaner "Fixing' I find the same file appears again in a new = Issues" scan. Any assistance/help on same? ================= After using CCleaner I have after unchecking the = Word 2002 = Options = General = Automatically create drawing canvas when insterting auto shapes = returning back to "default" [reticked] Have found by unchecking = Applications = Office 2003 / Office Xp = the Word program retains my unchecked option. Comments please
  6. Hi, Using Windows ME I have found if I have in the = CCleaner = "Options" = "Advanced" = "Tick" Checked to "Show Detailed Log of Internet Explorer Temporary Files" = and do a "Analyse/Run Cleaner" I have found on the first scan CCleaner shows the "Temporary Internet" files available to delete. Afterwards on any subsequence scan the CCleaner seems not to include them in the scan?? So I go and uncheck the = "Show Detailed Log of Internet Explorer Temporary Files" = these scans then do show the = "Temporary Internet" = files??? Suggest you check and see if you have tick checked the "Temporary Internet" box in the advanced settings?? Let us know if the above is related to your computer
  7. Is it possible to have the CCleaner "Options" to show "Run Cleaner when Closing down"???? Found by setting "CCleaner" "Options" to "Run Cleaner when the Computer Starts" and then proceed to check that a "Restore" point has been formed in "System Restore" [WindowsME] that the System Restore program notifies you "System Restore cannot run untill you restart the computer. Please restart the Computer and then run System Restore again". Can the CCleaner "Options" be modified to enable "Run Cleaner at Computer Closing down" Love your program!
  8. Colin

    System Restore

I have found if you setup the "CCleaner" to "Run Cleaner when the Computer Srtarts" and you go and check to see if the Windows "System Restore" has formed a later "Restor" point the System Restore program notifies you "System Restore cannot run untill you restart the computer. Please restart the Computer and then run System Restore again". Is it possible to have the CCleaner Setup programming to "Run Cleaner when Closing down"???? Love your program!
