  1. Thnx for the sharing your experience with FAT32. Anyway not a big issue since I only have FAT32 on my spare box, but I like to install when needed straight from a floppy as bootdisk and having XP setup on my harddrive. Easy with FAT32, but have not tried yet with NTFS4DOS. (In the past I used defrag from WinME on Win98SE, worked like a charm and very fast.)
  2. It could also be hardware related. If you haven't done already, run chkdsk from command prompt, use /V for additional info output. When there are errors and normal chkdsk can't fix it add /R. Also at times you have to repeat it a couple of times.
  3. Better to have your disk as much inactive as possible, just spinning as such. Reason excessive wear of your HD. Also I like a quick responsive system.
  4. Fast on NTFS but slow on FAT. Don't know if it's because of the filesystem or Defraggler ? Anyone ideas ?
  5. Same here, looks as fast as the old 1.02. Nice
  6. Same here, more then 2X it seems. Re-installed previous version. Using WinXP-SP3, NTFS.
