  1. CCleaner [Google Chrome - Session] damages the extension Translate Selected Text See Posts HERE and HERE.
  2. Winapp2.ini additions

I corrected my Post, HERE. The last release of winapp2.ini STILL includes entries Logs* and Session which BOTH damage the respective Chrome Extension.
  3. Winapp2.ini additions

I updated to the latest version of winapp2.ini for CCleaner. Logs* and Session entries STILL exist and the respective Chrome Extension becomes neutralized (i.e. it becomes no longer available via the Right-Click).
  4. Winapp2.ini additions

I use a Google Chrome Extension called Translate Selected Text For example, I visited THIS web-page, selected text, and translated it: When selecting the Winapp2.ini entries: Extensions State* , History*, and Logs*, the above Chrome Extension becomes neutralized (i.e. it becomes no longer available via the Right-Click). The same happens when I select to clear the Google Chrome entry Session of CCleaner.
  5. Winapp2.ini additions

But it does Not clear the Data usage. Run CCleaner and then check: Go to Windows Settings >Network & Internet >Data usage It must be 0 MB but it is Not.
  6. Winapp2.ini additions

Can someone, PLEASE, create an entry that will reset Data Usage (Windows 10) by deleting the entire files of the C:\Windows\System32\sru\ directory?
  7. Winapp2.ini additions

Entry Office 2016 as seen here: Changes the Office 2016 user's Options >Advanced related to the No. of Recent Documents, Recent Folders, and Quick Access of Recent Documents from what the user wants back to the Default options (Recent Documents: 25 - Recent Folders: 20 - Quick Access of Recent Documents: 4) When it comes to Privacy, it is not a wise thing!!!
  8. Winapp2.ini additions

[MS Reliability Monitor*] LangSecRef=3025 Detect=HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Reliability Analysis\RAC Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\RAC\Temp|*.* Can you, PLEASE, check the following two (2) entries? %ProgramData%\Microsoft\RAC\PublishedData\*.* %ProgramData%\Microsoft\RAC\StateData\*.* IF you find them harmless, then, you can add them...

  11. Winapp2.ini additions

Problem My Control Panel was Pinned into the Windows Taskbar. After I added the Winapp2.ini and used CCleaner, the Control Panel Shortcut (pinned into the Windows Taskbar) No Longer opened! What Winapp2.ini Entry is causing this?
  12. What happened the "slim" build of CCleaner?

For one more time, some point the finger at the users, who prefer the SLIM version over the other versions. I'm Not surprised at all... I'm grateful that CCleaner offers a SLIM version. I have No Problem waiting for it; no Problem at all.
  13. CCleaner v3.04

    SLIM just released!
  14. Winapp2.ini additions

No, I did something else! 1) I scanned with Index.dat Suite, 2) cleaned with CCleaner & Rebooted, and 3) re-scanned with Index.dat Suite I was amazed by the Number of Index.dat files Index.dat Suite found; files that CCleaner missed!

  17. CCleaner v3.01

    Thanks!
  18. CCleaner v3.01

    We'll see...
  19. CCleaner 3

If I want Chrome, I can go and download Chrome alone. CCleaner is for CCleaner and Chrome is for Chrome. BTW, HERE, HERE , and HERE other users -ALSO- Referred to/ and Welcomed the SLIM ( =Clean version) of CCleaner. If you want to use a version of CCleaner bundled with something else, you are free to do so. Like many users, I don't like Additives of any kind bundled with CCleaner.
  20. CCleaner 3

Since we don't know how many clients they have and their expenses,we cannot draw a valid conclusion. I am happy that CCleaner is among the Few -REALLY Freeware Apps-, as it can STILL offer a SLIM (=Clean) version. This is greatly appreciated by many users who are fed up with "Freeware" which is actually adware and occasionally even spyware.
  21. CCleaner 3

CCleaner - Business Support (?39.95) Defraggler - Business Support (?39.95) Recuva - Business Support (?34.95) Speccy - Business Support (?34.95)
  22. CCleaner 3

You still don't get it.-Two clicks or one click is Not the issue. -4kb or 400 kb is Not the issue. The issue is to keep CCleaner clean from 2nd party software. Now that is again available, I will use the v3 SLIM version of CCleaner (like what I did in the past). Sorry, but I like my favorite CCleaner clean from Adware.
  23. CCleaner 3

Guys, it is Not wheather 400kb or 4kb. It is the fact that CCleaner must have a SLIM (=Clean) version; a version FREE from any kind of 2nd party software. This is particularly important nowadays when more and more Freeware Apps become subject to any kind of 2nd party software. I'm glad that CCleaner -as Mod hazelnut wrote- will post a Slim version soon.
  24. CCleaner 3

LOL! You wrote your post just before I wrote mine! I'm glad that CCleaner will have a Slim version. I've been looking forward to seeing it...
  25. CCleaner 3

That's the bottom line.Piriform is subject to Google policy now. No more SLIM version.
