  1. No, I'm using IE6 with all updates and index.dat is not checked for cleaning. I've noticed this on two XP Pro SP2 machines since the last versions. Both machines have all MS updates. I guess I will start working backwards to find the last version that works correctly.
  2. I'm having the same problem with IE6, since the latest update. None of my saved cookies are being "saved" and I have to log in to everywhere again.
  3. I just dropped by here to see if anyone else was having the same problem. Apparently so. When I run the new version of Crap Cleaner it doesn't recognize the "cookies to keep" and deletes them so I have to log back in to every site. Maybe it's not a bug but a new feature.
  4. A big yeah! to that. So what if there was a toolbar - it's not like some software where you get it whether you want it or not. You had a choice to opt out. If you don't read what you are installing, then you deserve what you get. I wish as many people would make a donation towards the software as have complained about the toolbar.
  5. I noticed today that Run - in start menu no longer gets cleaned. This may not be a problem with crapcleaner because another function in my start button got corrupted after installing Update for Windows XP (KB906569) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en Anyway, as this all seemed to happen after the update was applied, I am going to assume that my problem with crapcleaner not cleaning the start - run out and whatever corrupted the additional tweak that I used to put control panel in my start up are related and tied to the windows update. I'll blame it on Micro$oft.
  6. I know it was mentioned earlier, but I'd like to see CC create a default location to back up registry issues before you fix them. Or at least ask you if you want to back them up to a default location with the option to change it. Other than that, I love this little program. It keeps getting better, and it is so small and efficient.
