    Critical Error

Occurs very occaisionally when running cleaner. Rebooting fixes the problem, but I'd like it not to occur in the first place Regards NM

    Critical Error

Hello, Just gotten a "critical error" Anybody knows what this means, or whether I should be concerned, or what I need to do (if anything) Here's the text of the error message: The thread attempted to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access CCleaner v2.05.555 MS Windows XP SP2 Intel Pentium M processor 1.70GHz 512MB RAM ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500 Application::Run Thanks, NM.
  5. Hello, I now have three winapp*.ini files in the CCleaner directory (winapp.ini, winapp1.ini, winapp2.ini) None of them refer to ms office or ms word - so how do I edit these files to prevent celaner from deleting my word settings? Thanks, NM PS using CCleaner version 2.06.567 on Windows XP SP2
  6. Hello, I have two questions about v2.06.567 First, if I select "Cleaner" and then "Applications" tab - why do some of the applications have asterisks next to the name? Second, where can I find a list of exactly what is cleaned for each application. For example, CCleaner apparently removes the autocomplete names list from Outlook. What else does CCleaner clean from Outlook - where can I find the list for each app? Thanks NM
  7. Thanks for your quick reply -- seems like it's an undocumented feature rather than a bug. NM
  8. Hello On the "General" tab of the "Options" in MS Word 2003 there is a checkbox to control whether MSWord starts in "Allow starting in reading layout" As far as I can tell CCleaner checks this option when it is cleaning up MS Office. I think this is a bug to change user selected options. Can this be fixed? Thanks NM
  9. Agree totally - Glary trashed my operating system so badly I had todo a complete re-install
  10. Hello, Could you add the functionality of deleting OIScatalog.cag from C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OIS and also deleting all files from C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OIS\thumbnails Thanks, NM
